This programme focuses on developing you personally and professionally, to open opportunities for employment in the business world or for further study.

Once you have completed this programme there are many employment pathways open to you:

With the Accounting strand, you will have the skills and knowledge to be employed in accounting roles.

With the Administration and Technology strand, you will have the skills and knowledge to work in a wide variety of administration roles.

With the Leadership and Management strand, you will have the skills and knowledge to work at an operational level within business entities.

Am I eligible?

This programme is open to anyone aged 18 and over. Students must have completed at least a Level 5 qualification in a relevant or related subject area.

English Language requirement

For international students: If you are coming from overseas, to be eligible for this course you must:

provide evidence of an IELTS overall band score of at least 6.0 (Academic), with no individual band less than 5.5 
Pearson Academic Test
have a Pearson Academic Test score of 50 and above with no individual band score less than 42 
have a C1 Expert Test PASS with no less than a pass in each skill

This qualification provides you with well-developed administrative skills and a broad knowledge foundation covering a wide variety of business environment contexts. You get to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. There is opportunities to put your leadership skills to the test.

It builds on previously developed administrative skills or existing business experience with essential skills such as developing text documents and spreadsheets, organising meetings, maintaining financial records and creating presentations etc.

Learning will be delivered using a blended (face to face) learning approach and you will be encouraged to engage with your fellow students and tutors in class and via your online learning portal. You will be supported throughout the process by our great facilitators who are professionally qualified and have industry and academic experience to share with you.

On completion of this programme

Graduates will have the skills, knowledge and competence required to undertake a range of business activities and carry out a mix of self-directed work and supervision of processes and people. They will be able to:

  • Analyse, research, strategise, prepare global and international plans, carry out risk analysis, innovation and constant improvement.
  • Be prepared to work in mid-level management positions in organisations or pursue further studies in this area.
