Our I.T. faculty maintains networks with the industry so you get both practical experience and the chance of employment. NZ Diploma in Information Technology Technical Support (Level 5)
This one-year programme will equip you with technical knowledge and hands-on experience in technical support. You will be able to pursue an IT career or move on to further study.
NZ Diploma in Systems Administration (Level 6)
This programme will equip you with technical knowledge and hands-on experience in system administration and skills in industry communication. You will be able to pursue a career in IT, or move on to further study.
Diploma in Computing (Level 7)
If you already have qualiﬁcations or experience in IT and you wish to pursue a more specialised role, this one-year course is your next best step. This course will also equip you to pursue further studies in computing and IT. If you’re enrolled in the Auckland campus, you may be eligible for up to 100 hours paid work experience during the last trimester. You may also have help in negotiating any internship opportunities.
Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (Level 7)
The GradDipIT one-year course gives you an integrated approach to developing expertise as an IT professional. Individual subjects are important, but the way they work together is critical. Equipped with this knowledge, you will be eligible for positions such as project manager, software architect or developer, website administration or network engineer.
