Firstly we would like to congratulate those of our students who have successfully transitioned on to studies at diploma or higher level so far this year. A number of students have developed their English skills to the required level and are now well placed to embark on further study.
Other students are making the most of the opportunity to study with us and the experience provided. A group of students and teachers enjoyed the chance to take in a game of rugby live at Eden Park – the students had a great time and for some of them it was their first experience of New Zealand’s national game.
Our activities programme continues to add to the experience students have with us – recently we have had a bit of fun with “International Nerd and Geek Day”, ten-pin bowling and a trivia quiz. In the near future we are looking forward to karaoke and “Aspire2’s Kitchen” – our very own cooking competition!
Not to forget the English language learning experience we offer – students are making the most of the additional classes we offer – Survival English for our entry level students, Pronunciation Practice and Conversation Corner – where students can interact with a number of native language speakers around topics of interest.
