International students must have appropriate and current medical and travel insurance while studying in New Zealand. It must include cover for student travel to and from New Zealand for the duration of time that the student is enrolled. We can arrange students’ insurance through OrbitProtect (for more information go to www.orbitprotect.co.nz).
Alternatively, students can arrange their own insurance, and they must provide proof of suitable insurance at the time of enrolment.

Health Services Eligibility
Most international students are not entitled to publicly funded health services while in New Zealand. If you receive medical treatment during your visit, you may be liable for the full costs of that treatment. Full details on entitlements to publicly-funded health services are available through the Ministry of Health, and can be viewed on their website at www.moh.govt.nz
The Accident Compensation Corporation provides accident insurance for all New Zealand citizens, residents and temporary visitors to New Zealand, but you may still be liable for all other medical and related costs. Further information can be viewed on the ACC website at www.acc.co.nz
International students are required to have a valid student visa during their stay in New Zealand. Once you have received an Offer of Place from us and you have paid your tuition fees, you should apply for a student visa from your nearest Immigration New Zealand office (contact the New Zealand Embassy or High Commission for details).
Aspire2 International promotes the wellbeing of students and supports them during their studies. We have agreed to observe and be bound by the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students. Copies of the Code are available on request from Aspire2 International or from the NZQA website at www.nzqa.govt.nz
Student Fee Protection
The New Zealand Government requires that all New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) registered Private Training Establishments must protect all student fees paid to them in advance. We are registered for Fee Protect through the Public Trust, which has unsecured capital guarantee from the New Zealand Government (For further information visit www.feeprotect.co.nz)
Student Withdrawals and Fee Refunds
Our fee refund policy is in accordance with the Education Act 1989 and amendments and applies to international and domestic students.
Recognition of Prior Learning
If you already have other tertiary qualifications or previous work experience, you may be granted credit exemptions and may complete your qualification in a shorter time.We will be happy to discuss this with you before or after enrolment.
