Why Auckland?

Auckland is rated the third most liveable city in the world in the 2017 Mercer Quality of Living Survey. We consistently rank as one of the best places to live, for our cleanliness, infrastructure, people and climate, and our huge variety of activities.

With 1.5 million people and counting, and home to a third of the country’s population, Auckland is New Zealand’s largest city and one of our fastest growing. As New Zealand’s financial and economic powerhouse, we need skilled people to help us grow and there are opportunities in many sectors.

London-based Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) ranked Auckland 18th in the world in its 2015/16 Best Student Cities survey. It looks at education quality, student mix and quality of living.

New Zealand's carefully designed education pathways and internationally recognised academic qualifications provide graduates with the skills to compete and succeed anywhere in the world.
